That’s where comparisons, trends, and changes come in—they’re the backbone of understanding data in a way that actually helps us make decisions.

Changes Over Time: Measuring Impact

Changes over time are like before-and-after snapshots. We compare two points—before and after an event—to see what shifted. This is especially useful when we’re trying to measure impact.

Think of things like:

✨ Did our website traffic improve after that redesign?

✨ How did customer satisfaction scores change after rolling out a new support process?

This approach helps us figure out whether the actions we’re taking are actually working—or if we need to pivot.
